It’s been a trying past few weeks, my emotions have been all over the place. I went to Jamaica for the burial of my dear cousin and childhood friend, I also had a challenging and very trying time of having to tell my story too…I had the opportunity to stand in my truth amidst the looks, stares, scrutiny.
I returned to the US from Jamaica ill and was hospitalized, the end result was respiratory infection and bronchitis, attended a wedding, came under extreme scrutiny and attacks from family, my computer crashed with all my writing just to name a few. I write this brief post just to let you know, I am ok and writing, I was just unable to post because of a few curveballs that came my way. My experiences over the past few weeks have however prepared me for some upcoming trials. Please be patient with me, I will be posting as soon as I can do my edits from a P.C and not my phone. Lol. What has happened has just opened my eyes to growth, also making me aware of the trials that lay ahead.
