If you read last week’s letter about silence and survival,
You might be musing on some heavy things today.
Mondays can feel overwhelming,
especially when you’re carrying the weight of what you want to say,
and the fear of what might happen if you say it.
So let me remind you of something simple:
You don’t have to roar today.
You just have to breathe, breathe with intention.
You don’t have to be loud to be powerful.
You don’t have to scream to be strong.
You don’t have to tell it all to be brave.
And your healing doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be real.
Maybe today, using your voice looks like:
• Saying “no” without over-explaining
• Asking for what you need instead of silently surviving
• Telling someone you trust one small piece of your story
• Or simply whispering to yourself: “I don’t have to suffer in silence.”
What I need you to remember:
Psalm 139:14
“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
You, yes you are fearfully and wonderfully made!
You were made to be heard.
Get honest with yourself:
What’s one quiet way you can honor your voice today?
From my heart to yours, be reminded:
You don’t have to rush.
You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
You just have to keep going.
Keep choosing you.
Keep disrupting old patterns and tired narratives.
Keep letting your “not yet” become “maybe I can try.”
even in the stillness,
even in the quiet,
even in the pause between “I’m not ready” and “I’m willing to try.”
Your voice is still sacred,
even when it’s a whisper.
